Thanks to the software provided by the CHILDES database (Child Language Data Exchange System), a total of 30,542 spontaneous French utterances from three adults and twenty-two children between 2 ;5 and 4 ;0 have been published online.
The data were collected and processed by Palasis K. during her Thesis "Syntaxe générative et acquisition : le sujet dans le développement du système linguistique du jeune enfant" (Université de Nice-Sophia Antipolis, 2009), where she analysed the acquisition of the syntactic subject, with interesting outcomes.
