Biographie

I am a linguist working on comparative grammar and theoretical syntax, with a focus on (Italo-)Romance languages. After completing my PhD in Linguistics at the University of Padua, I held research and teaching positions at the Universities of Zurich, Frankfurt, and Bristol. My research on comparative syntax has been supported by two Marie Curie Fellowships. I currently lead the ViGramm project (Visualizing Grammars across Space and Time), which examines syntactic variation using data visualization methods.
