My research is in the fields of language comprehension, prediction and decision making. The experimental approach focuses on the dynamics of associative, semantic and combinatory learning in memory, and on processes of probabilistic prediction and decision making as a function of uncertainty. The modeling approach focuses on the necessary and sufficient condition of synaptic learning and neuronal activation in biologically realistic networks of the cerebral cortex.
